Going Through the Motions Lyrics

One, two, three, fourI never thought that I'd be the one to say
I've had enough, yeah
I've opened up my closet
The skeletons are catching upI'm waiting for my chance to bail
But the goddamn ship set sail
I know without a doubt that I want out
But there's not a chance in hellTime to admit it, a man's gotta live it
Going through the motions
I've hit the bottom, lost and forgotten
Going through the motionsMy mind's about to overload
It's a time bomb and it's out to blow
Then we'll be going through the motions
Go, go, goTen minutes later and finally I've got it up
You know that something's wrong
When you've begun to gather dustSo what's the point in aiming tall
When you're guaranteed to fall
My reflections cracked and looking back
I'm so unrecognizableTime to admit it, a man's gotta live it

Going through the motions
I've hit the bottom, lost and forgotten
Going through the motionsMy mind's about to overload
It's a time bomb and it's out to blow
Then we'll be going through the motions
Go, go, goGoing through the motions
Going through the motions
Going through the motions
Going through the motionsGoing through the motions
Going through the motions
Going through the motions
Going through the motionsGoing through the motions
Going through the motions
Going through the motionsTime to admit it, a man's gotta live it
Oh, I've hit the bottom, lost and forgotten
Going through the motionsMy mind's about to overload
It's a time bomb and it's out to blow
Then we'll be going through the motionsGoing through the motions
Going through the motions
Going through the motionsGoing through the motions
Going through the motions
Going through the motions
