Koo Koo Kanga Roo is an interactive live show unlike anything you have ever experienced. With the carefree simplicity of your kindergarten days, a Koo Koo Kanga Roo party is a dance extravaganza for all ages! The undeniable urge to move your body will lead you to the dance floor as you hear their catchy pop melodies and infectious dance beats. Their live show is jam packed with zany sing-alongs and choreographed group dancing that is guaranteed to have the crowd on their feet and engaged in the fun! Koo Koo Kanga Roo’s ideas and dreams are firmly based around creating fun and interactive moments that will connect with everyone and last in their memories. Koo Koo Kanga Roo has even been described as a combination between the Beastie Boys and Sesame Street. How can you not be excited for that?

The live show is really where the music comes to life and what the band is most passionate about. Each song has its own style of participation, some feature sing-alongs like “LMNOP” where the crowd joins in, singing about the best sounding letters in the alphabet or “No Crust” a passionate pièce de résistance about enjoying your PB&J sandwich just the way you want it, without the crust! Other songs feature simple dance moves that are taught throughout the song and are performed with the entire crowd. “Dinosaur Stomp” has the room stomping their feet and chomping with their arms like the jaws of their favorite dinosaur, and the audience will be shuffling side to side, arms outstretched during “Cody The Coyote”. Each chorus in “What’s That You Say?” showcases a new dance move (Robot, Airplane, Slo-Motion Run, Disco Dance, Freeze in Place) that Koo Koo Kanga Roo will teach you as the song progresses. As with everything Koo Koo Kanga Roo creates, simplicity is key. If the crowd participation element cannot be explained to the audience in the eight bar intro, it does not pass the Koo Koo Kanga Roo stamp of approval.
