Gold Lyrics

I been up and down this lonely town
Never found what I was needing
Running out of leads and possibilities
Never thought I'd see just what I'm seeingIt took a while to get through
All of my bad luck
Ever since I met you
I feel like I've just struck goldBaby, when it comes to love
You know you've got the Midas touch
It's goldThat heart inside of you
Is 24 carat through and through
Just keep on doin' what you're doin'
It's goldYour angel face
How you say my name
That magic way, your kisses lingerThat sexy laugh
And that look you have
It's all got me wrapped around your fingerI don't wanna fall asleep
Don't wanna close my eyes
'Cause all night long I wanna keep

Watching you shine like goldBaby, when it comes to love
You know you've got the Midas touch
It's goldThat heart inside of you
Is 24 carat through and through
Just keep on doin' what you're doin'
It's goldYeah, it took a while to get through
All of my bad luck
But ever since I met you
I feel like I've just struck goldBaby, when it comes to love
You know you've got the Midas touch
It's goldThat heart inside of you
Is 24 carat through and through
Just keep on doin' what you're doin'
It's gold
It's goldGod, everything you do
Is making me fall in love with you
It's gold
