Gold Lyrics

La, la, laTwilight in my eye
Then I can see for seven million miles
Twilight in my eye tonightThe dreams become clear
The fog gets thicker every time I inhale
Stars look the same to meOh my God, I went gold when I saw your smiling face
I went gold when I went through this troubling maze
I went gold and my people behind me all did the sameOh my God, I went gold when the ocean swallowed me
I went gold and I felt that I was free
I went gold and my people behind me all did the sameIts a way to the heaven, dont try to feel too much
Just let the morning dry your eye
And I say la, la, laLet it all in
Dont feel afraid of dying, just give in
Let it all in tonightOh my God, I went gold when I saw your smiling face
I went gold when I went through this troubling maze
I went gold and my people behind me all did the sameOh my God, I went gold when the ocean swallowed me
I went gold and I felt that I was free
I went gold and my people behind me all did the sameIts a way to the heaven, dont try to feel too much
Just let the morning dry your eye

And I say la la, la la, laLa, la, laOh my God, I went gold when I saw your smiling face
I went gold when I went through this troubling maze
I went gold and my people behind me all did the sameOh my God, I went gold when the ocean swallowed me
I went gold and I felt that I was free
I went gold and my people behind me all did the sameLa, la, la

Mando Diao are a rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. According to the band, the name Mando Diao has no meaning at all, but rather appeared to band member Björn Dixgård in a dream. Their sound is influenced by The Animals and Oasis. The roots of Mando Diao date back to 1995 when Björn Dixgård was a member of a band called Butler. Band members came and went; four years later, the remaining line-up chose to proceed more seriously in their musical efforts. Björn Dixgård and Gustaf Norén locked themselves up in a summer house and spent six months writing songs.
