Gone Tonight Lyrics

How did I get hungover without a drink
Why are my eyes so bloodshot
Why do they sting
Sometimes we get so angry
It just keeps coming
How do we stop
Wanna stop
Wanna stop
Oh, we clawed and we fall yeah we doubted along the way
We've been misunderstood
Yeah, it hurts with this fear and painBut it's gone tonight
Nothing in the way
Go forward, forward
Nothing not to say
It's our world, our world
Trouble's gone tonight
Right under the bridge like water, water
Promising to love you harder, harder, harderI'm without this raw emotion

Fresh in my mind
I'm gonna play you
Make you take all your time
Sometimes it feels so fatal
We survived it
Never stop, never stop, never stop
I lost
Never thought that I'd doubt you along the way
I'll take the bad for the good
Gonna hurt with this fear and painBut it's gone tonight
Nothing in the way
Go forward, forward
Nothing not to say
It's our world, our world
Trouble's gone tonight
Right under the bridge like water, water
Promising to love you harder, harder, harder
It's like a cripple in my heartCripple in part
I don't understand
We get so dark
Here we go again
Another argument
I don't wanna go back to the start
No, no, no
I don't wanna go back
No, no, noIt's gone tonight
Nothing in the way
Go forward, forward
Nothing not to say
It's our world, our world
Trouble's gone tonight
Right under the bridge like water, water
Promising to love you harder, harder, harderGone tonight
Oh, oh
Promising to love you harder, harder, harder
Gone tonight
Oh, oh
Oh, oh
