Gone for Good Lyrics

Well, I'm not the kind of company you're, you're accustomed to
You've got such a calmness that, I, I can't break on through
Did everything you wanted me to, to make you stay
Every reason lordy was just an excuse, you know
He was a perfect getawayYou're gone, gone, girl
Gone, I know, baby so long
Gone, I know time is gonna roll me on
Thank God you're gone for good
Well, oh, when the days, they gonna, fly on by
You're gonna think about me after some time
I swear I'm gonna show you how you lost your goddamn mind
It didn't matter, not one little bit, how could you leave me alone?
I tried to forget your misery, no more hard times, [?]You're gone gone, girl
Gone, I know, baby so long
Gone, I know time is gonna roll me on
Thank God you're gone for good, girlI swore I couldn't live without you
Now, I'm staring at the holes in my wall
Where the pictures hung, now you're back around like

Nothing ever happened at all
It was my slow slip
It was my losing grip on my, my, sweet once upon time
I guess it was just a dream I had when you, you were only mine
You're gone gone, girl
Gone, I know, baby so long
Gone, I know time is gonna roll me on
Thank God you're gone for good, girl, oh, hey

The sky is the limit for native Kansas City Blues artist, Samantha Fish, often called a Blues prodigy at only 21. Samantha has been known to share the stage with several influential blues artists such as Tommy Castro, Tab Benoit, Shirley King, Watermelon Slim, Kenny Neal and Cedric Burnside. Her deceptively mature voice, is sultry and innocent at the same time, while her intense guitar gives her a sound that is a cross between Jonny Lang and Susan Tedeschi.
