Good As Gone Lyrics

With a love like our love
I don't need nobody else
I could try to help you
But honey I can't help myself
In the middle of the week
I can feel your body moving on
Wait a minute let me speak
Tell me that you love me
But your heart's as good as goneHoney if you're leaving
You don't have to tell me why
Don't get a reason
When his dreams are gonna die
If you're leaving on the greyhound
Take a minute think about your past
All the people that you let down
Tell me that you love me
But it wasn't made to lastSo ask me about the time that we met
You were passed out on the front lawn

Try to talk to you and ask you where you from
Baby what's going on?
I thought I knew but I was wrong
Who would of known that baby
All along heart was as good as gone
And if my heartache leads me down a road of shame
Could I believe you'd still call my name?
God believe in all that stuff
But darling you
You never haunted me enough
