Good Dream Lyrics

I can take you on a rollercoaster ride
You ride the front - I'll ride the back
We'll switch around and then
Attack the bird sanctuary
Where we can learn
about the damage we have done
We can turn and hold each other
Like it's this that makes us closer
I can tell you you're the one
You're the best thing that I've done
I've fixed some skis and mended lives
I've gotten low and high on knives
Watercolor tracing pennies
Tracing Snoopy
I can read my eyelids and it seems to be
Your story
Like someone wrote it long ago
It took me up 'til now to knowWhat I need is to have a good dream

I want the opposite of loneliness
Touch and love and feel and give
All words that I need to live
AhhhahhhahhhSome men have tied pink ribbons
On the trees I see - I want to steal them
Put them on the owner's car and let him be
chopped up and fed back to the earth
So I can see these trees smiling back at me
Oh smiling back at me...
Look at me I'm buzzing while a dead man
buzzes by on the other side
It's all green...floating lights are in the sky
What is it that keeps me ill
What is it that keeps me coughing
I just wanna sleep
And wake up in love deepWhat I need is to have a good dream
I want the opposite of Adolph Hitler
Touch and love and feel and give
All words that I need to live
AhhhahhhahhhWhat I need is to have a good dream
I want the opposite of loneliness
Touch and love and feel and give
All words that I need to live
AhhhahhhahhhWhat I need is to have a good dream
I want the opposite of Adolph Hitler
Touch and love and feel and give
All words that I need to live
Ahhhahhhahhh

Olsson has seen life from the other side of the business, with a decade of experience in both major-label and independent situations. Despite three albums (1998’s P.J. Olsson, 1999’s Words for Living and 2005’s Beautifully Insane) acclaimed both for their bold 21st century troubadour combinations of traditional instruments and innovatively utilized electronics and his often-revealing lyrics, he had little commercial success.
