Good Life Lyrics

Passed out layin' in a strip club parking lot
Missin' my shoes and my shirt
Woke up face down, empty bottles all around
And why the hell does my head hurt? You know I've been there a time or two
Believe it or not, we're just like youIt's a good life
Getting so high, the ground is outta sight
It's a good life
Wakin' up, askin' what happened last nightIt's a good life
Think I might have met my future ex-wife
Wish we could remember these days but we never will
(No, no)Woke up by surprise to a girl I didn't recognize
Probably should remember her name
I know it isn't right but every night
When we're loaded every single night
They all start to look the sameYou know you've been there a time or two
Believe it or not, we're just like youIt's a good life
Getting so high, the ground is outta sight
It's a good life

Wakin' up, askin' what happened last nightIt's a good life
I think I might have met my future ex-wife
Wish we could remember these days but we never willIt may be too late to save my soul
Better live it up before I get too old
So now it's our time to lose control
But who gives a fuck 'cause it's rock 'n' roll
(Yeah, yeah)It's a good life
Getting so high the ground is outta sight
It's a good life
Wakin' up, askin' what happened last nightIt's a good life
I think I might have met my future ex-wife
Wish we could remember these days but we never will
Wish we could remember these days but we never will
Wish we could remember these days but we never will

There are at least two artists using the name Hinder: 1) Hinder is a post-grunge band that was formed in Oklahoma City more than four years ago, when guitarist Joe Garvey and drummer Cody Hanson discovered Austin Winkler singing for a cover band at a college dorm party. "I heard him and was blown away," says Cody. "He has the kind of charisma very few people have and that unique voice. You can't really compare him to anybody."
