Good Time (Adam Young Remix) Lyrics

Woah-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good timeWoke up on the right side of the bed
What's up with this Prince song inside my head?
Hands up if you're down to get down tonight
'cause it's always a good timeSlept in all my clothes like I didn't care
Hopped into a cab, take me anywhere
I'm in if you're down to get down tonight
'cause it's always a good time
Good morning and good night
I wake up at twilight
It's gonna be alright
We don't even have to try
It's always a good timeWoah-oh-oh-oh Woah-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try

It's always a good time.It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-ohFreaked out dropped my phone in the pool again
Checked out of my room hit the ATM
Let's hang out if you're down to get down tonight
'cause it's always a good time
Good morning and good night
I wake up at twilight
It's gonna be alright
We don't even have to try
It's always a good timeWoah-oh-oh-oh Woah-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh Woah-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try
It's always a good timeDoesn't matter when
It's always a good time then
Doesn't matter where
It's always a good time there
Doesn't matter when
It's always a good time then
It's always a good timeWoah-oh-oh-oh Woah-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh Woah-oh-oh-oh
It's always a good time
Woah-oh-oh-oh
We don't even have to try
It's always a good time

The Good Time Songfacts explains that Good Time is a duet between Synthpop act Owl City, aka Adam Young, and Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen . Minnesota native Young wrote the song in the early months of 2011. He said: "I love Carly's song 'Call Me Maybe.' I remember hearing it for the first time and immediately became a huge fan of hers – it is absolutely contagious. A bit later, I actually found out that she had known of my music for a while and even went to a couple of shows of mine in Vancouver so I definitely knew I wanted to collaborate with her.
