Good Times Lyrics

Good times, good times
I'm goin' out tonight just to ease my mind
I worked all day I'm gonna' play all night
I ain't gonna' stop 'till it feels alright
You gotta' take time for what you wanna do
And if you had the chance I know you would too, babyAre you gonna meet me on the moon tonight?
Can't guarantee I won't touch you, girl, 'cause I just mightGood times, good times
I watched you wiggle, baby, from behind, hey
Skin tight pants and I watched you dance
I asked you, honey and you took a chance
I'm kinda outspoken 'cause my mind is broken
I love you, baby, I sure ain't jokin', nowAre you gonna meet me on the moon tonight?
Can't guarantee I won't touch you, girl, 'cause I just mightGood times, good times
Good times, good times
Good times, good times
Good times, good times

Sam Hopkins was born on March 15, 1912 in Centerville, Texas. In 1920, at the age of eight, Hopkins met and played with the legendary Blind Lemon Jefferson, even becoming Jefferson's guide for a short time. Hopkins' cousin, the great bluesman, Texas Alexander, was another influence. Their musical partnership was broken up by Hopkins' time in Houston's County Prison Farm during the 1930s. When Hopkins made his way to Houston's Third Ward in 1946 he was introduced to Lola Anne Cullum, a talent scout who had pieced together deals with companies such as Aladdin Records out of Los Angeles.
