Good with the Bad Lyrics

I do it Monday morning, I really need to think it straight
I'm done being stressed about decisions I need to make
Want a change of pace from fighting the grey every day
But you know what they sayWhen you're up, you don't look down
And when you're down, you wanna come around
An emotional rollercoaster straight to the groundI take the good with the bad, the good with the bad
Don't wanna let my life pass away
I take the good with the bad, don't wanna be sad
Tomorrow's not today
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeahIt's only been a month but I'm ready for a getaway
I'm done being stressed about all the bills I need to pay
Wanna go out with my friends, hang out at my favourite place
But you know what they sayWhen you're up, you don't look down
And when you're down, you wanna come around
An emotional rollercoaster straight to the groundI take the good with the bad, the good with the bad
Don't wanna let my life pass away
I take the good with the bad, don't wanna be sad

Tomorrow's not today
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah'Cause if tomorrow I should die, I know I
I really lived my life, 'cause I know
When you're up, you don't look down
And when you're down, you wanna come around
An emotional rollercoaster straight to the groundI take the good with the bad, the good with the bad
Don't wanna let my life pass away
I take the good with the bad, don't wanna be sad
Tomorrow's not today
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah

Samsaya (born Sampda Sharma) is a Norwegian singer and actress. As a child, she lived in India with her Sri-Lankan-Indian family; and moved to Oslo, Norway when she was 11 months old. She felt like she didn't fit in with her surroundings, and her parents weren't happy with her having Norwegian friends. Therefore, she used music - rap specifically - as an escape path, and would record her own music on tapes in her bedroom. She cites Dinah Washington's Mad About the Boy as the song that influenced her to create beat-driven tracks.
