Goodbye Copenhagen Lyrics

I feel like every time I wake up in the morning
I'm just another fucking useless freak
And every time I take a look in the mirror
It's like I just want to go back to sleep
I know it sounds like I'm a little too much but
I got the right to complain
Sometimes life can be kind of a joke
It's not as easy as it seemsI feel like
I feel like
I feel like breaking outGoodbye Copenhagen love
I left my heart I know it's not enough
Goodbye Copenhagen love
I'll be back in December I hope you'll still be thereDo you know the feeling when you're walking down the street
You're kind of bored and you don't know what to do?
And this dick, he comes up and bumps a cigarette
When you look back he's laughing at you
And I remember when it all was easy
I was a rebel with a cause

The funny thing is that now I look back I,
I wonder if I ever wasBaby,
I feel like
I feel like
I feel like breaking outGoodbye Copenhagen love
I left my heart I know it's not enough
Goodbye Copenhagen love
I'll be back in December I hope you'll still be thereI called your house, called your cell
But you're breaking up
Back and forth snapping jaws
Babe I've had enough
Screams and shouts pull my hair
What a shit dessert
Yea life's a bitch and then you marry one
This is love, can you say it's love? This is not enough for me
'Nough for me
'Nough for meGoodbye Copenhagen love
I left my heart I know it's not enough
Goodbye Copenhagen love
I'll be back in December I hope you'll still be there
Goodbye Copenhagen love
I'll be back in December I hope you'll still be thereCan you say it's love? [x4]

New Politics: David and Soren had been writing songs together for over three years (for respective solo albums that have yet to see the light of day) when they realized that they had unintentionally started a band. The pair had experimented with every imaginable style of music (every imaginable style) and suddenly recognized that the combination of their musical sensibilities, as witnessed on the 300 songs theyd penned together, created something new and interesting.
