Goodbye Girl Lyrics

Yeah, I know that color on your lips too well
I saw you blowin kisses down the wishin well again
When I say, I love you, you just say, I know
You put your arms around me, but its all for show and thenThere you go, wrecking my whole world
All fixed up, my goodbye girlYou scatter in the wind just like a dandelion
Reminding me again that you aint ever mine for long
But I know whats gonna happen when the moon is right
Youll show up at my door and pull me in just like a songAnd there you go, wrecking my whole world
One more hello, one more goodbye girlIt might seem crazy to keep lovin you this way
But Ill never bring myself to say
Goodbye girlThe sun is gonna make its way around again
But the rain is always waitin just around the bendThere you go, wrecking my whole world
One more hello, one more goodbye girl
All fixed up, my goodbye girl
Goodbye girl
Goodbye girl

Luke Bryan grew up in the very small town of Leesburg, Ga. Back home, he helped his father with his peanut and fertilizer businesses while playing sports and enjoying the great outdoors. Yet he can remember his mother urging him to belt out George Strait songs over and over while she drove him into town to shop. By age 14, his parents bought him an Alvarez guitar. By 15, his father would take him down to a nearby club, Skinner's, where he shared guitar licks and lead vocals with other local country singers.
