Got It (From "Jem and The Holograms" Soundtrack) Lyrics

I've got this thing, gonna blow your mind
Pulling your string, helping you unwind
You want to knot, but it can't be tied
You want to steal, 'cause i can't be boughtI've got this thing
Gonna tie your tongue
Step in my ring
You'll be out round one
You want to feel
but you've got no touch
You think it's love
But you think too muchI got it
I got it
I got itI got this thing
Gonna break you down
You're crumbling
Till you hit the ground
You want to try
Come and have your taste

This thing won't stop
'till you can't see straight

A Philadelphia electronic pop duo comprised of Jeremy Lloyd (production/songwriting) and Samantha Gongol (vocals/songwriting). The pair’s roots can be traced back as far as a middle school talent show that saw Lloyd - the son of a conductor and an opera singer - hear Gongol sing for the first time. Many a moon down the line, following a stint studying music composition at college for Lloyd while Gongol was cutting her teeth in New York as a songwriter, the pair reunited in the former’s bedroom studio.
