Gotta Keep Moving Lyrics

Teachers, parents and politicians
They ridicule my wild ambitions
They say, "Settle down son, live decently
Or you'll rot in jail before your twenty-three"They don't know their stuck in the past
Can't stop me now 'cause I'm movin' too fastPresidents, priests and old ladies too
They'll swear on the Bible, what's best for you
Atom bombs, Vietnam, missiles on the moon
And they wonder why their kids are shootin' drugs so soonYoung men fight for democracy
And sacrificed for mediocrityI can't stay in one place for too long a time
I get stone bored, I go outta my mind
I'm here and I'm there, don't you know I'm free?
Gotta keep movin' baby, you and me, heyI can't stay in one place for too long a time
I get stone bored, I go outta my mind
I'm here and I'm there, don't you know I'm free?
Gotta keep movin' baby, you and mePeople wakin' up but they've just begun
To realize what needs to be done
As for me I keep movin' onThe future's now, yesterday is gone
I never let nobody tell me what to do

No matter what I'm gonna see it through[Incomprehensible]

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

MC5

The MC5 (Motor City Five) is an American hard rock band formed in Lincoln Park, Michigan in 1964 and was active until 1972. They then reformed in 2003 and occasionally perform live. Their music also includes blues-rock, psychedelic rock, rock and roll and garage rock. "Crystallizing the counterculture movement at its most volatile and threatening," their far left political ties and anti-establishment lyrics and music would serve as a prototype for later punk rock and heavy metal musicians.
