Government Trash Lyrics

Well you can't say nothin'
We're doin' right
'Cause the government trash
Will give me up all night'Cep for drugs so hard
They need to break their banks
Don't step on the crack
'Cause you know about that, oh21, 21, Nobody knows anything at 21
22, 22, Nobody knows anything at 22She's alright, alright
She'll make it alright, alrightIt's not a secret
Everybody has decided
Look in the mirror
Starin' back in those eyesDon't stop thinkin'
Now pass the phone
I said do what you want
But just leave me aloneNothin' is free
Call the police
They dress to care
I dress to die, ohIt's not a secret

Everybody has decided
Look in the mirror
Starin' back in those eyesDon't stop thinkin'
Now pass the phone
I said do what you want
But just leave me alone

Death from Above 1979 are the Toronto-based duo of Jesse F. Keeler on bass/synths and Sebastien Grainger on vocals/drums. Refusing to employ a lead guitarist, they played loud synth infused dance punk on the drum and bass combination alone. Originally named just "Death From Above", the duo changed their name after a legal dispute with New York City dance-punk label Death From Above (known as DFA Records since the September 11, 2001 attacks).
