Greater Need Lyrics

I wanted to talk to you this morning and on into the afternoon
But you were out somewhere, so I couldn't get to you
I needed to make a connection, I needed to say your name
So I spoke it to myself but it wasn't the sameAnd it seems like I want you around me
A little more than you want me, so I guess
I'm the one with the greater needIt's not fair, it's not right, the way I need you here tonight
I'm so mad, you just don't know 'cause it always seems to me
That I'm the one with the greater needIt's so hard to want somebody more than they want you
It's something everybody in life goes through
But sometimes it's hard to admit it and see what others can see
That you're the one with the greater needIt's not fair, it's not right, the way I need you here tonight
I'm so mad, you just don't know 'cause it always seems to me
That I'm the one with the greater needI'm so mad, you just don't know 'cause it always seems to me
That I'm the one with the greater needI wanted to talk to you this morning
