Green Eyes Don''t Lie Lyrics

Bathroom stalls and backseats
Roadside motels is where they’ll meet
Will they ever learn? ever learn?
Clothes hit the floor before you blink
Here naked heart begins to sink
Forget her name with one more drink.
Will they ever learn? ever learn?
Will they ever learn? ever learn?
He’s gone before the morning
You’re never gonna see the dawning
Of this beautiful day.
of this beautiful day.
My baby’s eyes, they don’t lie
They got what you’ve been trying to find,
And we found it on the way.

So did the thought cross your mind?
That there is something more to life
Than bed sheets and blankets all full of lies.
Will they ever learn? Ever learn?
Will they ever learn? Ever learn?
He's gone before the morning
and he's gone before the morning.
You're never gonna see the the dawning
Of this beautiful day.
He's gone before the morning
and he's gone before the morning
You're never gonna see the dawning
of this beautiful day.
of this beautiful day.
Five to one, to five to one, to one to five.
The lies, the lust, the trust, the random loveless fucks
The lust, the lust, the lust, the lust, the lust.
The shorter the skirt, the greater the fame
He's gone before the morning
And he's gone before the morning
You're never gonna see the dawning
Of this beautiful day.
He's gone before the morning
And he's gone before the morning
You're never gonna see the dawning
of this beautiful day x4

Two discouraged friends sat down and imagined what it would be like to play in band without gimmicks, without egos, and without facades. They wondered what it'd be like to play with people who shared in their desire to meet every kid, at every show, in every state they played. Without even making a conscious attempt to pursue this concept, they were fortunate enough to find three other friends who shared this desire. Within three years, Envy on the Coast was born in 2004. The original lineup consisted of Brian Byrne, Dan Gluszak, Jeremy Velardi, Ryan Hunter, and Sal Bossio.
