Growing Up Lyrics

No-one told me
Growing up
Would be this hard, baby
No-one told me
Growing up
Would be this hard
I can see
I see you sitting down
Why can't you be moving to the front
I can see
See I see you sitting down
Why can't you be moving to the front
You told me there's a tomorrow
I don't believe you
You told me that there's time to borrow
You never told me enough
No-one told me
Growing up

Would be this hard, baby
No-one told me
Growing up
Would be this hard
I can see
See I see you sitting down
Why can't you, you be moving to the front
I can see
See I see you sitting down
Why can't you be moving to the front
I am the voice of tomorrow
I make the future
So you tell me that I'm supposed to follow
You never told me enough
No-one told me
Growing up
Would be this hard, baby
No-one told me
Growing up
Would be this hard
You see the pain I feel
Is this all you've got to say to me
Please don't preach to me
You taught me all you can
But you've got no brain-scan
Your advice is no use to me
No-one told me
Growing up
Would be this hard, baby
No-one told me
Growing up
Would be this hard

He was born on December 3, 1979 in New Zealand, moving to the UK when he was a child. He's an older brother of pop singer, Natasha Bedingfield and jazz singer Nikola Rachelle. After a song called "Gotta Get Thru This" (which he recorded in his bedroom) gathered momentum on white label, it went on to become a #1 hit in the UK Top 40 in December 2001. He has since had 2 more #1 singles ("If You're Not The One" and "Never Gonna Leave Your Side") as well as 2 other top 10 singles and a top 30 single. His album also titled Gotta Get Thru This, also reached #2 in the UK albums chart. Bedingfield is an outspoken Christian, whose parents are missionaries. He openly shares his faith during concerts and occasionally in his songs, although not all of them.
