ShankBone started in seventh grade (2004) and consisted of Sam Lachow (drums), Ian Collicott (keyboards), Neil Eddington (rainstick), and Ryan Rotorotoro (various items). We would jam in Ian's basement jus makin beats and rock songs. Soon we realized that we didn't need Neil so we kicked him out of the band. Then we decided that we were better at making rap music so we flipped the script and moved our recording studio to Sam's apartment where Sam would make beats and we would all spit verses. Our first CD started as a sort of joke but turned into a cult classic, containing 20 tracks including popular songs such as "Cowboii Shank" and "Crunk in the Club." We sold CDs to nearly everyone at our middle school and made a bunch of money so we decided to make a second cd titled "The Pennacle" which also was a huge hit. Our third CD titled "The Tabernacle" was the best of the three by far and sold quickly. After that, ShankBone took a break for about 2 years and came close to an end. Then out of nowhere, ShankBone released a 4th cd that blew everyone away. Titled "Pumpernickle," this 4th cd is the best of them all by far and is already sweeping the nation. It features rappers such as Skylar Swenson ('09), Ryan Campbell ('09), Quincy Coleman ('011), the young Jack Mace, and of course the world famous Maggie Brown who has been a huge part of ShankBone since the beginning.
