Guess Who's a Mess Lyrics

There you go you take your medicine
Even though I see the medifen
Will control nearly everything
That you know, ah well, it's not enough
Everybody says you're so messed up
But you're no idiot on the sidelines
Take a chance on a modern drug
And maybe you'll survive the night, alright
It's amazing what they do today with
Animals and chemicals and makeup
Looking good to me so hit the pavement
Hard to say you're not already famous
If there's a place you should be
Call the albumlance and they'll take you there for free
Tryin' to look as sick as you're on a magazine

Take a trip on the downside, ah well, it's not enough
Everybody says you're so messed up
But you're no idiot on the sidelines
Take a chance on a modern drug
And maybe you'll survive the night, oh yeah
It's amazing what they do today with
Animals and chemicals and makeup
Looking good to me so hit the pavement
Hard to say you're not already famous
You say you wanna try
But you can't get it right
You think that you're so bright
Why do the same thing twice?
If you can take your life
Then you can fake a smile
And either way you die, yeah
It's not enough!

Brad Sucks is the stage name of the artist Brad Turcotte, whose "one man band with no fans" was among the first to take full advantage of the free culture movement for advertising and distribution. (He is not to be confused with Brad Turcotte, the manager of Compadre Records.) Turcotte opened his website in 2002 with the intention of producing "open source music". His self-produced single, Brad Sucks One, included the audio source files used to create the finished files, and later he posted these source files to his website along with the MP3s.
