Guessing Games Lyrics

I could be trembling when I talk to you
I could be making up all sorts of things that are not true
And I could tell a half truth but I cannot tell a lie
Oh, I could tell a story that is ten feet highOhh, my stomach flutters
And I feel sometimes ashamed, oh
I'm a castle with the broken shutters
And this is not a guessing gameMy stomach flutters
And I feel sometimes ashamed, oh
I'm a castle with the broken shutters
And this is not a guessing gameOh, I could make a plea so that you and I could be we
And I could say, "Oh, it's a must that you and I should be us"
And all the answers I would guess and you would be so, so impressed
But I would never get a, yes, 'cause I have not the guts to guessOhh, ohh, my stomach flutters
And I feel sometimes ashamed, oh
I'm a castle with the broken shutters
And this is not a guessing gameMy stomach flutters
And I feel sometimes ashamed, oh
I'm a castle with the broken shutters

And this is not a guessing gameI could be listening but this is not a guessing game
Oh, I guess all the answers but this is not the same
I could be trembling, oh, I could be afraid
I could be wallowing, wallowing
When you all think Ive got it made

Her five acclaimed studio CDs include her major label debut, the gold-selling Tails and its follow-up, the Grammy-nominated, gold-selling Firecracker. She tours worldwide and in recent years has captivated a younger audience as she released award-winning Catch the Moon in 2003, and 5 years later Camp Lisa in 2008. In conjunction with Camp Lisa, she launched her own non-profit, The Camp Lisa Foundation, designed to help underprivileged kids attend summer camp through its partnership with Summer Camp Opportunities Provide an Edge, Inc. (S.C.O.P.E.). Loeb has starred in two television series, “Dweezil and Lisa,” a weekly culinary adventure for the Food Network and No. 1 Single, a dating show on the E! Network in 2006.
