Gunshot Lyrics

No escape for me
Would you set me free?
Chase me, hunt me down
Make me change my mind
I don't wanna know
What you're gonna make me do
What you're gonna take me through
But I'm telling you
You could be my life
If you could be my getaway
Get get getaway
Get get getaway
There's nothing to say
I can't run away
I know you're aiming at me
And I'm still afraid
Don't leave me for dead
'Cause I just feel it

Like a gunshot, baby
When you touch me
Maybe I will die
Yeah maybe I will die
And if I run like crazy
Will your gunshot take me?
Will you save me, baby?
Will I die?
Insecurity
You have weakened me
Tell me what to do!
Can I count on you?
Will you hit and run?
Will you bring me suffering?
Shooting through my armoring
I am lingering
'Cause you could be my life
If you would be my getaway
Get get getaway
Get get getaway
There's nothing to say
I can't run away
I know you're aiming at me
And I'm still afraid
Don't leave me for dead
'Cause I just feel it
Like a gunshot, baby
When you touch me
Maybe I will die
Yeah maybe I will die
And if I run like crazy
Will your gunshot take me?
Will you save me, baby?
Will I die?
Boom, boom, boom
Ears are ringing now
Boom, boom, boom
Come on, sing it now
Come on, sing it now
You be makin' it
Boom boom boom
You be shakin' it
Boom, boom, boom
You surrender now
You surrender now
There's nothing to say
I can't run away
I know you're aiming at me
And I'm still afraid
Don't leave me for dead
'Cause I just feel it
Like a gunshot, baby
When you touch me
Maybe I will die
Yeah maybe I will die
And if I run like crazy
Will your gunshot take me?
Will you save me, baby?
Will I die?

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
