Habits (Sako Isoyan Remix) Lyrics

I am a creature of habit
And I move in circles around you
I will admit there's a pattern
One I created myselfNone of my lovers dared leave me
I grew impatient and stale
Didn't look back once I'd left them
Cause I always expected to failBut this time it's different
The rules don't apply
But I need some distance to step out of lineSo grant me this wish and meet me back here in a year
If we still exist, I can let go of my fear
Fear of normalcy
Fear of the solid walls of our future and let go of my pastI must be crazy to want this
'Cause you are the girl of my dreams
But I'm prone to ruin the good things
Cautious 'round balance it seemsBut with you it is different
The rules don't apply
But I need some distance to step out of lineSo grant me this wish and meet me back here in a year
If we still exist, I can let go of my fear

Fear of normalcy
Fear of the solid walls of our future and let go of my pastSo grant me this wish and meet me back here in a year
If we still exist, I can let go of my fear
Fear of normalcy
Fear of the solid walls of our future and let go of my past

Maria Viktoria Mena (born February 19, 1986) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. Mena was thirteen years old she moved to live with her musician father. She sang and wrote lyrics as a form of therapy for her feelings and frustrations. Not all the stories in her diary became songs, but "My Lullaby" was one of them, expressing her pain from her parents' divorce. After pleading with her father to make a demo, he contacted some industry experts to record Maria's songs in the studio. Then he presented his daughter's demo to the music industry. Sony Music signed Maria Mena to their label.
