Hain's Point (Version) Lyrics

I read somewhere that every wall's a door to something new
Well if that's true-why can't i get through?Cause I'm not who I thought I was
And I can't explainBut it feels like...I'm falling through a hole in my heart
Just falling through a hole in my heart
Don't try to reach for nothing at allI could walk around--fall in love with a face or two
But it wouldn't be you--no it wouldn't be youCause you're not who I thought you wereNo I can't explain
No, no I can't explainBut it feels like I'm falling through a hole in my heart
Falling through a hole in my heart.
Don't try to reach for nothing at all.I can't, I can't explain.

Rites of Spring was an American post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C. Although they were only together from the spring of 1984 through the winter of 1986, they helped define the revolution summer sound along with Dag Nasty and Embrace, among others. Following the band's dissolution, singer and guitarist Guy Picciotto, guitarist Eddie Janney, and drummer Brendan Canty formed One Last Wish with Embrace alumnus Michael Hampton.
