Hard Line (Remix) Lyrics

There's shattered glass on the rocks by the riverbed
Where I used to go to try and clear my head
That's where I found that life is just a game
And that's where I heard the night first call my nameIt's a hard line I'll be walking till the end of time
It's a hard line my friend
It's a hard line harder than you know
It's a hard line my friendThe man I am today is not the man I've been
I'm never going back to learn those lessons again
I won't be a face in the crowd that got left behind
Looking for something I'm never going to findIt's a hard line I'll be walking till the end of time
It's a hard line my friend
It's a hard line harder than you know
It's a hard line my friendYou chose your path my friend I chose mine
And maybe we'll meet again at the end of the line
All I've ever got is plenty of hard time
Cause this life I chose is a hard, hard lineIt's a hard line I'll be walking till the end of time
It's a hard line my friend
It's a hard line harder than you know

It's a hard line my friend
