Hard to Believe Lyrics

What's waiting 'round the corner
What's lurking 'round the bend
Is it the beginning
The beginning of the endShould I turn around
Or keep straight ahead
Get up, see what's outside
Or just stay in bedWe never know where life will take us
Is it waiting just to break us
When we go on faith alone
Sometimes it's hard to believe
Gotta keep holding on
Gotta keep holding on
We can't be weak, we must be strong
And believe we can't go wrong
What you get must be deserved
Sometimes life throws a curveRolling with the punches
Follow all your hunches
We must go the extra mile

And always muster up a smileWe never know where life will take us
Is it waiting just to break us
When we go on faith alone
Sometimes it's hard to believe
What's going on
What's going on
Show yourself
If you're out there
If you hear me
'cus it's been so hard
It's been hard
Hard to believe
What's going on
What's going onWhat's on the horizon
What's burning in the sky
You never know what's coming
It's turning on a dime
The world will keep on running
It's spinnin' all the time
You gotta keep on moving
Or you'll be on the other sideWe never know where life will take us
Is it waiting just to break us
When we go on faith alone
Sometimes it's hard to believe
What's going on
Gotta keep moving onGotta keep moving on
Gotta keep moving on

From 1977 he performed as part of The Neville Brothers with his siblings, Art Neville, Charles Neville, Cyril Neville & Ivan Neville.
