Harder They Come Lyrics

I don't need no one who's gonna turn me down
I need you to let me be
Why is it they always seem to come around?
I don't have time for me
Have some pride, lift your head high
Walk away while you can
Nothin' I can do to save you now
So take it like a man
The harder they come
The harder they fall
You think I'm yours but I'm not at all
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me
The harder they come
The harder they fall
You're confident but you lose it all
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me

Love my freedom
Nothing's gonna take it from me, don't want it to end
I can't see why people always try to change me
That's not my intent
Have some pride, lift your head high
Walk away while you can
Nothin' I can do to save you now
So take it like a man
The harder they come
The harder they fall
You think I'm yours but I'm not at all
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me
The harder they come
The harder they fall
You're confident but you lose it all
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me
The harder they come
The harder they fall
You think I'm yours but I'm not at all
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me
The harder they come
The harder they fall
You're confident but you lose it all
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me
The harder they come
The harder they fall
You think I'm yours but I'm not at all
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me
The harder they come
The harder they fall around me

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
