Have I Met You? Lyrics

Well I know that you're in love again
(Because) I've seen the way you are with him
It takes one to know one, not just a 'someone'
An slip yourself into my shoes as they walk away gracefully
Heavy hearted, step after stepAs you wait for him
As you look for him
As you speak to him
I turn me back and shout these wordsHow do you do?
Have I met you?
Did you not recognize the face you just looked through?
Now there's no place to let our minds and bodies do what they want
Have I Met You?(Have I Met You? - Have I Met You?)The hands - you fold - are yours - not mine
You're ta - pping out - while I - do time
Well I know that you're in love with him
Because I've seen the way you are with him
It's take one to know one, not just a 'someone'As you wait for him
As you look for him
As you speak to him

I turn my back and shout these wordsHow do you do?
Have I met you?
Did you not recognize the face you just looked through?
Now there's no place to let our minds and bodies do what they want
Have I Met You?How can you treat me like a stranger after all this time?
How can you treat me like a stranger?
You're fooling nobodyHow do you do?
Have I met you?
Did you not recognise the face you just looked through?
Now there's no place to let our minds and bodies do what they want
Have I Met You?
(Have I Met You? - Have I Met You?)

Citizens! is a new band freshly signed to Kitsuné. Five London boys who pen songs with a panoramic view, and produced by Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand. Composed by Martyn, Thom, Mike, Lawrence and Tom, Citizens! is a call to arms, a statement, a mark in the sand. Their bold statement is that they reclaim pop cause “Pop is not a dirty word. It’s a holy one.” (Mike)
The melodious vocals and the catchy music are the ingredients of good pop. They treated recording like a game, an experiment.
