Have It Your Way Lyrics

You gotta have a dream,
But you gotta make it real.
Or nobody could ever know,
The way that you feel.Livin' isn't easy but the strong survive,
You gotta be tough,
You gotta speak your mind.Cause you know, deep in your heart,
That you must have it your way.
So take your time, play out your part,
And you will have it your way.You take a lot of pressure
From what other people say.
That really shouldn't matter to you anyway.
So no one really knows exactly what to do,
You gotta get to them before they get to you.And you know, deep in your heart,
That you must have it your way.
So take your time, play out your part,
And you will have it your way.I've seen a lot of people
Who were stronger at the start,
And God olny know why they fall apart.

But you never never gonna
Let it happen to you,
Cause you're playing to win,
This is nothing new.And you know, deep in your heart,
That you must have it your way.
So take your time, play out your part,
And you will have it your way.Cause you know, deep in your heart,
That you must have it your way.
Take your time and play out your part,
And you will have it your way.Have it your way.
Have it your way.
Have it your way.
You got to have it your way.You gotta have a dream,
But you gotta make it real.

The band released Meanwhile Back in Paris the following year and Under Heaven over Hell in 1979, but Frenette and Dean dropped out soon after to found Loverboy.
