Have They Forgotten Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
One soul
One life
One soul, one life, one meaningOne soul, one life, one meaning
As far as we know
So why the hell should we be grieving?
I don't know, a house without no hopeThey say there's nothing we can do
Just stand back
But while the government comforts you
And says, "Let's be patient"
One more cell becomes vacantHave they forgotten what it's all about?

Sometimes I wonder, can't work it out
An equation with no answer
Have they forgotten what it's all about? One soul, one life, one meaning
As far as we know
So why the hell should we be grieving?
I don't know, a house without no hopeHave they forgotten what it's all about?
Sometimes I wonder, can't work it out
An equation with no answer
Have they forgotten what it's all about?Too many times, we don't react
Too many things, oh that's just crap
And if you cannot see, the effect it has on me
You're blindHave they forgotten what it's all about?
Sometimes I wonder, can't work it out
An equation with no answer
Have they forgotten, what it's all about?

The Living End formed in 1994 after lead singer/guitarist Chris Cheney and bassist Scott Owen were introduced to each other by their older sisters at Wheelers Hill Secondary College in Melbourne, Australia. Cheney, obsessed with 80s rockabilly group the Stray Cats, convinced Owen to learn the double bass instead of the piano and they started playing gigs under the name Runaway Boys after the title of a Stray Cats song. The group went through a succession of drummers before settling on Joe Piripitzi.
