Headed For A Heartbreak (Original Studio Demo) Lyrics

YeahMorning came and I was on my way
When you reminded me
I had too soon forgotten
It was you that set me free
Yeah, you were here when I came
You'll be here when I'm gone
So don't be waiting on love
'Cause I'll be waiting to ramble onHeaded for a heartbreak
Headed for a heartbreakDarling, don't wait up for me
Tonight I won't be home
You've become a stranger
I just got to be alone
Don't need nobody on my side
To dull the blade I'm on
So don't be waiting on love
'Cause I'll be waiting to ramble onHeaded for a heartbreak
Headed for a heartbreak
Headed for a heartbreakIt's not a mistake

Don't you think I can feel the pain?
I walk away, to live againHeaded for a heartbreak
Headed for a heartbreak (Don't make me hurt you)
Headed for a heartbreak ('Cause I love you)
Headed for a heartbreak

Winger is an American hard rock band formed in New York City, in 1987, that gained popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's two platinum albums, Winger and In the Heart of the Young, along with charting singles "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak" and "Miles Away", put the band on the top of the charts by the early 1990s. In 1990, the band was nominated for an American Music Award for "Best New Heavy Metal Band". As the music scene changed in the early to mid-1990s due to the popularity of grunge, the band faded after their third release, Pull.
