Headphones Lyrics

I love to sit and watch you work the room
You could have anyone you want to
But I know, you know you're going home with meJust when I think I've got you figured out
You spin me faster than the speed of sound
I know, you know it makes me want you more
Makes me want you moreBoy, you're turning me on
I wanna be the bed that you'll be laying on
Yeah, I wanna be your's, your anything and everything
I wanna be that song comin' that's through your headphonesJust like the purple ink in your tattoo
Well, that's how close I want to be to you
Under your skin I'm playing in your head
Playing in your headAm I turning you on?
I wanna be the bed that you'll be laying on
Yeah, I wanna be your's, your anything and everything
I wanna be that song that's coming through your headphonesI'd let my world revolve around you
I'd whisper sweet things in your ear
I've never loved but I'm about to
Can't you feel us going thereAm I turning you on?

I wanna be the bed that you'll be laying on
Yeah, I wanna be your's, your anything and everything
I wanna be that song that's coming through your headphones
That's coming through your headphones

Rimes emerged with her first single, "Blue," when she was just thirteen years old in 1996. She is most recognized for her crossover hit "How Do I Live" which, according to the Billboard charts, is one of the most successful songs in American music history, spending 69 weeks on the charts, more than any other song in American history. While country singer Trisha Yearwood's version of the song won a Grammy in 1998, Rimes' version outsold Yearwood's by millions of copies.
