Hear That Music Lyrics

I don't know why the sun don't shine
Just listen to my music all the time
I don't know why people pass me by
Just to sitting here singing my songAnd I don't know why people can't be free
All you gotta do is to be like me
Get yourself a guitar, pick out a song
Baby, it won't be longHear that music
That good old country song
It makes you walk, makes you talk, makes you jump on the floor
Then you got to come back for moreHear that music
You know it can't be wrong
Well, if you want to know the way to go
Come help me while I sing my songEverybody saying that trouble's got you down
But tell me something, don't you want to smile upon the town
Look in the sky, there's no reason why
You can't help me with my songWell, it's really easy, remember what I said
Listen to the music, let it take your head
You better run or you miss the fun

Baby it won't be long, it won't be longHear that music
That good old country song
It makes you walk, makes you talk and makes you jump on the floor
Then you got to come back for moreHear that music
You know it can't be wrong
Well, if you wanna know the way to go
Come help me while I sing my songIt's really easy, remember what I said
Listen to the music, let it take your head
You better run or you miss the fun
Baby it won't be longHear that music
Hear that musicWell if you wanna know the way to go
Come help me while I sing my song
Well, if you wanna know the way to go
Come help me while I sing my song

Poco, founded in 1968 by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Richie Furay and Jim Messina (both inducted 1997 with Buffalo Springfield), was one of the earliest in the "country rock" genre that was later commercially popularized by bands such as the Eagles. The band was completed by Rusty Young (pedal steel guitar, dobro, banjo and mandolin) Randy Meisner on bass and George Grantham on drums. Poco's 1969 debut, "Pickin' Up the Pieces" (the title being a reference to the break-up of Buffalo Springfield), received some critical acclaim but generated very litttle enthusiasm commercially.
