Heart Of Gold Lyrics

Babe I hate to leave you but its time to go
I'll go my way while you go yours
But theres just one thing that you have to know
You've got a heart, you've got a heart of gold
Its impossible to carry on when you're all I've ever known
You were the only one who gave me time to spread my wings and grow
But now the world is ours to finally see
But you have no time for me
So now I'm singing..
Babe I hate to leave you but its time to go
I'll go my way while you go yours
But theres just one thing that you have to know
You've got a heart, you've got a heart of gold
Yeah, you've got a heart of gold
And I hate to leave you baby

but I promise you I will never try to replace our memories
Nobody, baby, nobody's gonna change what you really, what you really mean to me
Because we both know that this love cant hold
but for right now we've got to set it free
Yeah, you've got a hear to gold(3x)
And I hate to leave you baby
But I've got to leave, I've got to leave you baby
You've got a heart, you've got a heart of gold. (4x)

Guns Out At Sundown is a band based out of Western Maryland, finding its beginnings in 2007 with the name LenorAstray. Original line-up included: Jamie Peterson-bass/lead vox, Mike Dennis-guitar, Nathaniel Raley-guitar, and Trav Hensley- drums. Shortly after, we introduced long-time, childhood friend Christopher Tepper to drums, and moved Trav to lead vocals. After many discussions, and a drive for more, the band changed its genre to create a heavier sound. In 2008, Nick Miller joined the band to fill the position of guitarist, but left the band after recording our first professional demo. In 2009, we added Ryan Crosco to the roster. The band recorded its full-length album entitled, "The Comfort In Chaos"with Johnny Burke at Chin Music Studios in Cleveland, Ohio (www.reverbnation.com/vibestudios) in November of that year, but due to a few personal issues, the band took hiatus, planning to return stronger than ever once their lives were back on track. In early 2011, Ryan Crosco decided to leave the band, with Nick Miller rejoining and filling the slot. Now, with a new name, and their final puzzle piece, Andrew Hill on bass, they're back and ready to shred it up! Read more on Last.fm.
