Heart and I Lyrics

I hope there's a golden age, I pray for my sanity
Where we don't have to answer to anyone about anything
This is not like the brochure, flying cars and sex machines
We're all so compliant 'cause everything is what it seemsAnd they can't build a satellite to tell you how loved you are
Or some kind of life device that holds you in you've gone too farAnd I don't feel myself again, I thought I'd be fixed by now
Walking through the horizon, I find myself back here somehow
Give me something to die for or design a quiet mind
Something to like mankind for 'cause we don't lie, my heart and IYou've been bending so long now, you think it's standing up
And they line up behind you to build you up, buttercup
We can lose all meaning quicker than a credit card
And not everyone's healing so try your best and don't look too hard'Cause they can't build a satellite to tell you what's in your heart
Or some kind of life device to hold you in, you've gone too farAnd I don't feel myself again, I thought I'd be fixed by now
Walking through the horizon, I find myself back here somehow
Give me something to die for or design a quiet mind
Something to like mankind for 'cause we don't lie my heart and IWill I ever feel that waking? Naked as a lullaby
Don't ask me to explain again, I can't lie to my heart and IAnd I don't feel myself again, I thought I'd be fixed by now
Walking through the horizon, I find myself back here somehow
Give me something to die or design a quiet mind

Something to like mankind for 'cause we don't lie my heart and IMy heart and I, my heart and I
I've been feeling so lonely
Feeling so low
So low I almost let go

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
