Heart of Stone Lyrics

There she stood in the street
Looking fine, looking sweet
But I knew that girl from way back when
I was young, had my pride
I was taken for a ride
And my heart skips a beat every time that I see her againShe's got a heart of stone but she looks so good
Like a movie star out of Hollywood
She's got everything she wants, she's never alone.
She's got a heart of stone and it's all too much
She will let you look but you must not touch
You'd better leave her alone, she's got a heart of stone
If you see her go by, with that look in her eye
Don't be fooled by the game she will play
Thought that I was the one, then one day she was gone
And she took all I had and she threw all my loving awayShe's got a heart of stone but she looks so good
Like a movie star out of Hollywood
She's got everything she wants, she's never alone.
She's got a heart of stone, I was in her spell

I was sinking fast in a wishing well
You'd better leave her alone, she's got a heart of stone
She's got a heart of stone but she looks so good
Like a movie star out of Hollywood
She's got everything she wants, she's never alone.
She's got a heart of stone and she's cold as ice,
Making promises of a paradise
You'd better leave her alone, she's got a heart of stone.
