Heartaches Lyrics

Heartaches, heartaches
My loving you meant only heartaches
Your kiss was such a sacred thing to me
I can't believe it's just a burning memoryHeartaches, heartaches
What does it matter how my heart breaks
I should be happy with someone new
But my heart aches for youHeartaches, heartaches
My loving you meant only heartaches
Your kiss was such a sacred thing to me
I can't believe it's just a burning memoryHeartaches, heartaches
What does it matter how my heart breaks
I should be happy with someone new
But my heart aches for youHeartaches, heartaches
What does it matter how my heart breaks
I should be happy with someone new
But my heart aches and my heart breaks
And my heart aches for you

Cline was best known for her rich tone and emotionally expressive bold contralto voice, which along with her role as a mover and shaker in the country music industry, has been cited as an inspiration by many vocalists of various music genres.
