Heartless Heart Lyrics

Every night is the same old thing
Baby I tried, yeah I tried
Let's put an end to this misery
Baby I cried, yeah I criedSo hot stone cold, but why'd you let me goYou got a heartless heart
Got a heart of stone
You got a heartless heart
And it's just gonna bring you downYou tell me things that I know ain't true
Baby you lied, yeah you lied
I just wanted to be with you
Baby I tried, yeah I triedSo hot stone cold, why'd you let me goYou got a heartless heart
Got a heart of stone
You got a heartless heart
And it's just gonna bring you down, yeahHeartless heart
Heartless heart
Heartless heart
Heartless heartYou got a heartless heart of stone
It's bringing me down, baby
You had to play the only game you've known

With my heart, with my heart, ohEvery night is the same old thing
Baby I tried, yeah I tried
Let's put an end to this misery
Baby I cried, yeah I criedSo hot stone cold, why'd you let me goYou got a heartless heart
You got a heart of stone
You got a heartless heart
And it's just gonna bring youYou got a heartless heart
Got a heart of stone
You got a heartless heart
And it's just gonna bring you downHeartless heart
Heartless heart
You got a heartless heart
And it's just gonna bring you
Heartless heart

Kitty Kallen (born on May 25, 1922) was an American popular singer, who sang with a number of big bands in the 1940s, coming back in the 1950s to score her biggest hit, 1954's "Little Things Mean A Lot". Born in Philadelphia to a Jewish family, she won an amateur contest as a child doing imitations of some singers of the day. When she brought her prize (a camera) home, her father refused to believe her and thought she had stolen the camera, so he punished her severely. Later, when neighborhood people came to congratulate her father, he realized that her story was true.
