Heart's in Traction Lyrics

You don't wanna be the guy
To watch a grown girl cry
So you just leave me be
I'd rather cry alone
Than see you leavin' meYou just had to be the one
That had to slip away
Now that's the way it feels
When you feel this way
Nothing I could say to make you stayThey say I'm overacting
It's physical reaction
I'm hangin' on a heartache
Just another bad break
I'll make it with some luck
But I'll be laid up for months
My heart's in tractionMy heart's in tractionI don't wanna hear the words
You've said 'em all before
Now you're a well known fact
From the back of your hand

To the slamming of the door
Now I'd rather be alone
With just the memory of you
So leave me aloneI'd rather be a lonely fool
Than a fool for youMy heart's in traction
It's a physical reaction
I'm hangin' on a heartache
Just another bad break
I'll make it with some luck
But I'll be laid up for monthsMy heart's in traction
My heart's in traction
