Heaven 2.9 Lyrics

Someone put me on a plane
Goodbye, farewell, adios my friends
I need a holiday
S.a.s. is takin' off againI wanna have my fun
Where the nights are long
We wanna go away
Where the sun will always shine
We're in heaven 2.9Or just put me on a train
Goodbye, farewell, adios my friends
Tell her I said 'Hey'
And I might not come home againI wanna have my fun
Where the nights are long
We wanna go away
Where the sun will always shine
We're in heaven 2.9A London queen
Tokyo teen
A Frisco fag in the disco scene
A New York doll

And the Berlin boysCan I ride in your car
Goodbye, farewell, adios my friends
Vacations at the jet set sunset bay
My girls are drivin' me insaneI wanna have my fun
Where the nights are long
We wanna go away
Where the sun will always shine
We're in heaven 2.9We're in heaven 2.9
Ohoohoh
We're in heaven 2.9
Ohoohoh
We're in heaven 2.9
Ohoohoh

Backyard Babies is a Swedish Rock'n Roll band, formed in the city of Nässjö in 1987, originally comprising singer Tobbe, guitarist Dregen, bassist Johan Blomquist and drummer Peder Carlsson. After recording a rough demo and playing a few local live dates, in 1989 the group dismissed Tobbe and replaced him with singer Nicke Borg; two more demos followed, as did a national tour, and in 1991 the Backyard Babies launched their first official release, the EP Something to Swallow.
