Hell Is a War Lyrics

Hiding in the darkness, sheltered from the rain
My mom and dad are gone now, I'm alone again
Is anybody out there? Does anybody care?
I don't wanna live here anymore, I don't wanna liveSee the people suffering, watch the children die
Doesn't it make you wonder why?
Money and power, the television's red
One by one, they collect the deadHell is a war, hell, what is it for? They'll slay the innocent and every mothers son
To get the ethnic cleansing done
Hey Mr. Politician, what are you gonna do?
This nightmare's up to youHell is a war, hell, what is it for?
Hell is a war, hell, what is it for?GoStopping for nothing, I fire at will
In the name of my religion, I shoot to kill
To kill, to kill, to kill, to kill, to kill, to kill, to killSee the people suffering, watch the children die
Doesn't it make you wonder why?
Money and power, the television's red
One by one, they collect the deadHiding in the darkness, sheltered from the rain
My mom and dad are gone now, I'm alone again
Is anybody out there? Does anybody care?

But I don't wanna live here anymore, I don't wanna liveHell is a war, what is it for?Hell is a war

Annihilator is a thrash metal band founded by Jeff Waters in Ottawa, Canada in 1984. Along with singer John Bates, the original line-up was complete when drummer Paul Malek and bassist Dave Scott (Richer) joined the band.
Bates and Scott decided to leave the following year citing artistic differences and personality conflicts. Waters relocated to Vancouver where he assembled a whole new line-up, including former D.O.A. member Randy Rampage. Waters has continued to shuffle the line-up, including singers, throughout the band's history.
