Hell To Pay Lyrics

I thought it wouldn't last forever
You were sure it's never end
We should have known better
As our world caved inAnd we had to watch it fall
Then we lost it allThere's always hell to pay, yeah
To get away from yesterday, to sever
There's always hell to pay, yeah
When every day's like yesterday
And yesterday's gone
I can't live in the past
Watch it slip away, it goes by so fast
My future's filled with doubt
And I wanna cut my soul right out
As for me, the end is here at lastAnd we almost had it all
Now watch it fallThere's always hell to pay, yeah
To get away from yesterday, to sever
There's always hell to pay, yeah
When every day's like yesterday

And yesterday's goneAnd we almost had it all
We almost had it all
And we had to watch it fall
Falling away, falling away, forever
There's always hell to pay, yeah
To get away from yesterday, to sever
There's always hell to pay, yeah
When every day's like yesterday
And yesterday's goneThere's always hell to pay, yeah
When every day's like yesterday
And yesterday's gone

Their 2001 debut album, Sinner, was certified platinum within six months and the video for its first single "Bodies" was frequently aired on various music video channels. After the September 11th attacks the song "Bodies" was infrequently heard on many radio stations due to the sensitivity of those families' loved ones who jumped from the towers.
