Hello, Dolly Lyrics

Hello, Dolly, this is Louis, Dolly
Its so nice to have you back where you belong
You look'n swell, Dolly, I can tell, Dolly
You still blow'n you still crow'n you still go'n strongI feel that room sway'n, while the bands play'n
One of our old favourite songs from way back when
So, take a wrap, fellas find a empty lap, fellas
Dolly, never go away again.I feel the room, sway'n while the bands play'n
One of our old favourite songs from way back when
So... Golly Gee fellas, have a little faith in me fellas
Dolly never go away, fellas you never go away
Dolly never go away again...

Louis Armstrong (1901-1971) was a trumpet player, singer, and bandleader, and is widely regarded as one of the most influential artists in the history of jazz. Armstrong was born and brought up in New Orleans, a culturally diverse town with a unique musical mix of creole, ragtime, marching bands, and blues. Although from an early age he was able to play music professionally, he didn't travel far from New Orleans until 1922, when he went to Chicago to join his mentor, King Oliver.
