Her Decay Lyrics

Scraping the ground with her life behind her
Friends are gone and her family don't mind her
??? beads around her neck and her orthopedic shoes
Loneliness is her sad companion
Loneliness, it's all she feels
Wishing that her telephone was more than just a monthly bill
Lost in a world far ahead of her time
While rapidly losing her esteem
Our conversations are always short
But she always says hello
Look into those hazy eyes
So innocent and slow
In the mirror her hair is graying
Full of flash to support the years
Taking back the bitter words and turning them to tears
Loneliness is her sad companion
Loneliness, it's all she feels
Wishing that her telephone was more than just a monthly bill

In the mirror her hair is graying
Full of flash to support the years
Wishing that her life would end
And she said she's had a friend
Laid late one night as she turns off the light to be still
