Here With You Lyrics

Well, I heard your voice on a Tulsa wind
When I was far away from home
I will come to you in a dream, my friend
To love you when I'm goneAnd there's never a second
Never a moment
That you'll ever be aloneFrom Memphis to Oklahoma
From Boston to California
From Detroit to Arizona
I will always be forever here with youWell, the first time I ever seen your face
I saw the ghost behind your eyes
Heaven consuming me with your warm embrace
You're a woman and a childAnd in just one second
Just one moment
Finally feels like homeFrom Memphis to Oklahoma
From Boston to California
From Detroit to Arizona
I will always be forever here with youFrom Memphis to Oklahoma
From Boston to California

From Detroit to Arizona
I will always be forever hereIn life there will be trials and troubles
But we will always have each other
And there could never be another
Woman in this world, in this world
In this world, in this worldFrom Memphis to Oklahoma
From Boston to California
From Detroit to Arizona
I will always be forever here with youFrom Memphis to Oklahoma
(Here with you)
From Boston to California
(Here with you)
From Detroit to Arizona
I will always be forever here with you

The group was formed in September 1996 in Memphis, Tennessee. While Memphis was an unlikely place for a grunge / nü-metal band, Saliva was able to follow in the tradition of crafting hard rock songs in radio-friendly format popularized by the likes of Creed and Nickelback. After competing in the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Grammy Showcase competition, where they advanced to the final round in New York City, the group self-released their self-titled debut album which sold over 10,000 copies in their region, prompting Island Records to take notice.
