Here's The Good News (Live@KCRW) Lyrics

A clock face ticking on empty dial
I only want what I know is mine
Sound the bells
Cause here's the good newHere's the one you been waiting for
Your time has come
Ain't gonna wait no more
Can I get a piece for meYou know when something's up
When it hits you hard
You feel like starting over
Straight back for yards
When everything is everything
And everything you see
Sees us doing all the things
That we want to beMillions march back on their feet
Still no sign from, a, those who preach
Teach me not
They don't represent meHere's the one you been waiting for
Don't waste time

Ain't gonna wait no more
Can I get a shout for meYou know when something's up
When it hits you hard
You feel like starting over
Straight back for yards
Sees us doing all the things
That we want to beNothing's new and nothing gained
When all is lost and nothing claimed
Except the parts
They keep for their-selvesHere's the one you been waiting for
Don't waste time
Ain't gonna wait no more
Can I get a shout for me
Can I get a little piece for me
For me
Oh, for me
For me

Paul Weller (born 25 May 1958) is an English singer / songwriter, leader of two successful bands: The Jam and The Style Council. In England, he is recognised as something of a national institution yet, because much of his songwriting is rooted in English culture, he has remained essentially a national rather than an international star. Weller's eleventh studio album, Sonik Kicks, was released on 19 March 2012. The Green Songfacts reports that it was recorded in Weller’s own Black Barn Studios in Ripley, Surrey, with co-producer Simon Dine and engineer Charles Rees.
