Heroine Lyrics

I hold the razor blade up to my face
I feel the pulse beneath my skin
The crimson line describes the outer trace
Of my broken heart withinI thought I was invincible
Until the sky fell down on me[Chorus]
You are my heroine, do with me what you will
This is no time to die, no time to killMy heroine, my lover to the end
You give me life again, you are my heroineI turn my mind back not so long ago
When I was cast upon the ground
Then utter chaos rained into my life
What I had lost, could not be foundI thought I'd lived forever
My time on earth had ceased to be[Chorus]The gentle waves of rolling sea
Washing my demons from me
You are my heroine, all that matters to me.I may have loved you for a thousand years
But then you've known that all along
I always saw you as an eagle high in the sky
So tell me why
Only you, hold the key to set me free...I thought I saw eternity

With my own eyes too blind to see[Chorus]My heroine, my lover to the end
You give me life again, with peace you send
The gentle waves of rolling sea
To wash all the demons from meYou are my heroine,
All that matters to me...

There is more than one band named Asia.

1) Asia is a progressive rock supergroup formed in the spring of 1981 by bassist and vocalist John Wetton (from King Crimson and Uk), guitarist Steve Howe (from Yes), drummer Carl Palmer (from Emerson, Lake & Palmer) and keyboardist Geoffrey Downes (from Buggles and Yes).

The band sold over nine million albums worldwide with their first self-titled Asia, that include the singles Heat of the Moment and Only Time Will Tell.

In 1990, Asia released its 4th album called Then & Now and only Geoffrey Downes continues with Asia along with bassist, vocalist and producer John Payne until 2004 when they published their 11th album Silent Nation, along with guitarist Guthrie Govan and drummer Chris Slade (from AC/DC).
The band emerged from its ashes commemorating the 25 anniversary of the original formation that brought it success in 1982 with a tour of North America, a DVD and a promotional CD.

Asia returned in 2008 with its first original album from the original line-up with "Phoenix" April 15, 2008, which was followed by a well received tour.

2) Asia was an excellent progressive hard rock band with epic and pomp rock hints. The band is from South Dakota (US) and should not be confused with the famous UK one. They released 2 albums: Asia (1979) and Armed to the Teeth (1980)
