Hey Baby Lyrics

Verse 1
Hey baby, tell me why you're hangin' 'round
Ain't got time for kissin', too busy in this town
All you fancy men, so fun in between
I don't need no fancy types I need ones that's clean
Hey baby, jump into the back of my Ford
I'm gonna give you a ride, you never could afford
Hey baby
Hey baby
Follow me down to my house, I'll show you a real love game.
Yes I will
Verse 2
Hey baby, jump in the back of my car
I'm gonna hug and kiss you, I'm gonna stir your heart
All you fancy men, so fun in between

I don't need no fancy types I need ones that's clean
Hey baby, tell me why you hangin’ round
Can’t go steady, too busy in this town
Hey baby
Hey baby
Follow me down to my house, I'll show you a real love game.
Yes I will
Verse 3
Hey baby, tell me why you hangin’ round
Can’t go steady, too busy in this town
All you fancy men, so fun in between
I don't need no fancy types I need ones that's clean
Hey baby, jump in the back of my Ford
Gonna give you a ride, you never could afford
Hey baby
Hey baby
Follow me down to my house, I'll show you a real love game.
Yes I will

Verse 4
Hey baby, jump in the back of my car
I'm gonna hug and kiss you, gonna stir your heart
All you pretty men, so fun in between
I don't need no fancy types I need ones that's clean
Hey baby, jump in the back of my Ford
Gonna give you a ride, you never could afford
Hey baby

Follow me down to my house , I'll show you a real love game.
Yes I will
Love Game

Follow me down to my house, I'll show you a real love game.

She was known primarily for her rough and powerful vocals and traditional blues stylings. Taylor was born as Cora Walton on a farm just outside Memphis, Tennessee. In 1954, Taylor left Memphis for Chicago with her husband, truck driver Robert "Pops" Taylor. In the late 1950s she began singing in Chicago blues clubs and was spotted by Willie Dixon in 1962, leading to wider performances and her first recording contract.
